American Bulldog - The american bull dog is an excellent guard dog. However, this breed is still a family dog that is very gentle with kids and other dogs. The bulldog is a great low maintenance dog to own since they shed very little hair and have very short coats. They have a medium activity level and require about a 30 minuet walk per day.

American Bully - Bred in America solely from line breeding American Pit Bull Terriers to achieve a short, wide, and muscular look. They're temperament is excellent with people and other dogs as long as they are socialized properly. Aggressive behavior towards people or dogs is considered a fault. Well know bloodlines of this breed include Razors Edge, Greyline, Gottiline, as well as Butthead.

Game Bred APBT's - Game bred American Pit Bulls have a tall, lean, and muscular build compared to most pit bulls that you see today. These dogs were unfortunately bred for fighting. Deemed inhuman in the early 1900's, dog fighting was banned. However, this is still a serious problem in America today. Thankfully with pitbull rescue groups and the help from law enforcement dog fighting is becoming a thing of the past. Bloodlines include Colby, and Gator to name a few. Colby pit bulls are one of the oldest bloodlines in american with ancestor's dating back as far as 120 years ago. link:http://www.game-bred.com/
ShortyBull - The shorty bull was created in the early 2000's by mixing french bulldogs and smaller versions of the american pit bull terrier. This created a dog in the 20-35 pound range. Their temperament tends to be a bit high strung with a high energy level. They will require plenty of space to run as well as regular walks.
Olde English Bulldogge Muscular and Athletic dog know for it's large blocky heads and strength. This dog was originally bred for bull baiting. The Olde English Bulldogge is an excellent guard dog as well as a family companion. This type of breed would be excellent to train in protection work and would excel as a guard dog once fully trained. Any type of protection training must be done professionally by an experienced trainer.

English Bulldog The English Bully dog is short (13-15 inches at the whiters) and stocky with tree trunk like legs and a pushed back snout. Their upper lips flap over their bottom lips and they tend to have a good deal of loose skin on their head and face. An underbite is not considered a fault and the majority of the english bulldogs have underbites. Their temperament can be somewhat dog agressive from time to time but when socilized properly they will get along with other dogs great. This breed is an excellent family pet. The only drawback is that they tend to droll alot. As long as you can handle the droll, this would be a great breed to own. On a positive note, their hair coat is very short and easy to maintain. They also shed very little.

American Staffordshire Terrier Also know as the Amstaff, this breed is very similar to the American Pit Bull Terrier as well as a colby pitbull. Often confused with the pit bull, it has many features as the pitbull. Short hair, short muscle, athletic build. However, Amstaffs tend to a smaller head and do not carry as much muscle mass as the pit bull. They do not have as much drive as the pitbull either. They are build like a show dog with a lean and strait body with a show like strut.
